The King Street strip has been bustling along as busily as ever and certainy without exception here at Rubyos. As always we’ve had our heads down and tails up, working hard to make sure that we bring you the best the season has to offer, and our new seasonal menu kicks off with a range of rustic, comforting flavours, using the best fresh produce we can find.

Of course the old favourites are still around, such as the Soft Shell Crab with Mango Kasundi, the Peking Duck Pancakes, and the Sweet Potato and Coriander Dumplings, but exciting new dishes include: North African roasted Chicken flavoured with lemon and turmeric; Homemade Veal, Lemon and Sage Sausage with roasted carrot, paprika and potato mash; Truss Cherry Tomato and Goat’s Cheese Tart with caramelised onion; Seared Fillet of Pork with peach and date compote and crackle dust; Dark Chocolate and Espresso Fondant, with pedro ximenez anglaise, and Rhubarb Meringue Pie, with vanilla bean icecream and raspberry coulis.

Rubyos is the perfect place to celebrate just about anything! With the building’s Heritage charm and the crisp contemporary interior, the setting lends itself well to intimate gatherings and parties. We offer Banquet Menus to suit everyone, a convivial atmosphere, space for groups of 10 to 90, and a private room for up to 44 guests, so let us help with your next party.
